Next steps for your admission
Pick your school and course on the calculator first, so these steps can be pointed at the right place.
-
Check your JAMB result
Confirm your UTME score directly on the JAMB portal or JAMB e-Facility, not from a screenshot someone sent you.
-
Complete your school's Post-UTME screening
Register and sit your school's own screening exercise — this score feeds the "Post-UTME" part of your aggregate.
-
Watch JAMB CAPS for your admission status
Log in to your JAMB e-Facility account and check the CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System) status regularly once your school starts releasing lists — this is the only place an admission becomes official.
-
Accept the admission on CAPS
If you're offered a slot, accept it on CAPS within the window JAMB gives you. An unaccepted offer can be withdrawn and reissued to someone else.
-
Pay your acceptance fee
Pay your school's acceptance fee only through their official portal — never through a third party or an agent.
-
Do your school's own online registration
Fill in bio-data, upload your O'level results, birth certificate and passport photo, and print whatever forms the portal asks for ahead of physical clearance.
-
Attend physical/departmental clearance
Bring original certificates for verification, along with the printed forms from the step above. Departments usually publish a clearance timetable — don't miss your slot.
-
Pay school fees and register your courses
Once cleared, pay tuition and complete course registration for your first semester. Keep every receipt until your first-year exams are done.
Exact steps and portal links vary by school and change between sessions — confirm the current process on your school's official site and JAMB's own announcements before relying on this list.
