Privacy

The short version

GAPEX.org doesn't require an account, doesn't run a database, and doesn't store your scores on our servers. Your JAMB score, O'level grades, Post-UTME score and course/university choice are processed only for the single page load that calculates your result.

What's saved, and where

Some features — learning progress, your Mistakes notebook, study streak, study time, study plan, admission checklist, and your last calculator result on the Student Centre — are saved using your browser's localStorage, entirely on your own device. We never see this information, and it doesn't sync across devices. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookies

A session cookie is used only to support the CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) protection on the calculator form — it does not track you across visits or sites.

Third-party links

School portals, JAMB's own site, and other external links are outside our control — their own privacy practices apply once you leave GAPEX.org.

Future accounts

If accounts are introduced later, this page will be updated first, and nothing about how your data is handled will change silently.
